Sometimes people just strike it big on the lucky meter. Out of nowhere an everyday person can come along and become a trending sensation that racks up the headlines on social media and becomes painted as a curiously interesting person which you can’t help but talk about. Here are 20 such overnight “successes.”
If you never watch Dr. Phil then there is still a chance you haven’t heard of the then 13 year old girl Danielle Bregoli. The teen appeared on the TV program in September 2016, which was dealing with parents and their out of control teenagers. Danielle has a police record that stretches so long it’d torment most parents. As the young girls life was portrayed on camera she became disgruntled by the audience who snickered at her cocky attitude. At one stage she became quite annoyed and turned to them saying “Catch me outside, how about that?”, trying to antagonize the crowd further and act tough as though she could beat them all up with her gangsta fighting skills. Mrs Bregoli had a somewhat street style forced accent about her so when she said that particular phrase it sounded more like, “Cash me ousside, how bow dat?”
Once the show aired she immediately became a runaway viral train with memes popping up left right and center. The original video of the segment uploaded to the Dr. Phil YouTube channel has been viewed over 35 million times and she has become more and more popular by the day thanks to her street dialect and catch phrase. With all that attention it means people are always watching and she was reported recently to have punched a passenger on an airplane she was travelling on, apparently in an attempt to defend her mother. She certainly has a funny way of going about her attention seeking as she puts up a big, mouthy front and barks a big game but you can tell it’s all out of insecurity and just wanting to be accepted by her fellow humans.
Her popularity to date has racked her up more than 9 million followers on her Instagram social media account. She landed a hefty $40,000 to feature in hip hop artist Kodak Black’s “Everything 1K” video clip. That clip raked in 10 million views in its first 48 hours. At other one off appearances she’s reported to be charging $5k to show up. Mrs Bregoli has many production companies trying to lure her into show based on her life. Let me reiterate again, she’s a 14 year old girl made famous by a catch phrase.
